Before long, take in breathtaking views of the Bungle Bungle massif, rich in Aboriginal heritage and providing stunning photographic opportunities.
The flight then turns northward, circling the world famous Argyle Diamond Mine, source of both Pink and fine quality Champagne diamonds en-route to Emma Gorge. As the flight descends you now have time to reflect on the region with a refreshing lunch and self-walk tour of Emma Gorge. You may soak your feet in the campsite pool or walk through the gorge, 1hr each way, for a swim in the natural waterhole. A towel, good health and steady footwear are recommended.
With the camera reloaded the flight wings its way across vast cattle station country and the rugged Cockburn Ranges leaving you with a tapestry of tidal inlets and mangrove systems as you land in Wyndham.
